This is my blog. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

This is my blog about the meaning of life, the universe and everything. Well, maybe. I haven't really gotten that far yet.

It was Thursday of last week when I was walking through Target for a few odds and ends. I spotted the notebook aisle and my brain lit up. I knew that I should get a few notebooks, one large and one small to keep on me, and begin taking notes. A journal. A chronicle. So since I enjoy typing much more than writing, I decided a blog would be a wise choice to add to the mix. You can never have too many records. You never know, I could come up with some really clever pun sometime that might end up on a bumper sticker, and someone will see that bumper sticker and be inspired to change their whole way of thinking.

But back to reality, this is more a journal and a chronicle of the interesting, amazing and sometimes unbelievable things that tend to happen around and within me on an almost daily basis. I'm not sure who will be reading this or what, if anything, they will find in it, but I just know that mine is to write and not be concerned with any eventualities that may or may not occur. Even though having my own bumper sticker slogan would be cool and all...

So this is somewhat of an intro blog entry. I havent written in my journals since Tuesday and much has happened since then energetically. Not the least of which was a revelation on Tuesday that dwarfs just about any I've had thus far.

I'm being presented with the last line from The Life Aquatic, where Bill Murray turns to Klaus' son and says "This is an adventure". Such a brilliant line with such deep meaning. Even after the loss of his own son, he understands that this life is simply an adventure to be experienced. And so I leave you with that for now. This is an adventure.
